Our Safety Philosophy

Safety is an integral part of our company’s philosophy. We endeavor, through training, commitment, and active collaboration with our employees, to demonstrate that philosophy. We believe that injuries can be eliminated by creating competency in our workforce. We consistently take all the necessary steps to ensure that competency is continued and encouraged.

Van-Berg is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all its employees from day one of employment. Workers are brought into our safety culture with an orientation by our Safety Manager on the use of our Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Program.

We continue to accomplish this culture by adhering to a Safety Management Program outlined in our safety manual. This manual addresses the who, what, where, when, why and how of Job Site Safety.

In the unlikely event that an accident or incident should occur, our Injury Management System is there to assist employees with their Return-to-Work plan.
